Join the Friends of Tarrywile Park for their 3rd Annual Evening at the Mansion, to be held from 6 pm - 9pm. Come enjoy a summer evening of fine food, wine, beer, desserts and music by Phil LoPresti & Company. A Silent Auction has also been added this year. Join Park volunteers as they lead participants on an hour to 1 1/2 hour hike. Our volunteers will, introduce people to the Park, introduce them to hiking & hiking equipment such as boots, poles, clothing, water & snacks, etc., go over the trail maps & learn how to read trail makers. Try to build the difficulty of the hikes as we go along. Meet at the Red Barn Environmental Center at 3 pm. Join us for one hike, two hikes or the whole series!
Join the Danbury Animal Welfare Society as they hold their 6th Annual Hound Hike here at Tarrywile Park. The event will be held starting at 10 a.m.. Bring along your dog and enjoy the great outdoors with other animal lovers. There will be games, refreshments and treats! Meet dogs ready for adoption and get some great exercise. Join the Tarrywile Park Authority in partnership with HVCA and Polley Creates for the First Annual Plein Air Event Artist's Reception and Sale from 3 pm - 5 pm. "Midnight Madness" Hike - With the full moon coming out at 8:53 p.m. this evening, we will begin at 9:30 pm. Bring your flashlight as it will still be dark! Please check the Guided Hike page for details on this event.
